How This Is Calculated
- Deposits: Security deposit commonly matches the tenancy tenure in months (e.g. 2 months for a 2-year tenancy), plus a half-month utility deposit and any optional renovation/other deposits.
- Tenancy Stamping Fee: RM1 per RM250 (or part thereof) of annual rental for tenancies of 1 year or less, RM3 per RM250 for tenancies longer than 1 year, minimum RM10.
- Agency Fee: Optional, entered in months of rental, with 8% SST added on top if applicable.
- Booking Fee SST: An optional 8% SST can be added on the first month's booking payment.
